All seniors will be honored at the meet on Saturday, January 28th.  Each senior needs to email Coach Walton with the following responses:

1. How you would like your name announced (Example: Clay VS. Clayton)
2. Your parents' names
3. Your intended plans upon graduation (Example: Attending GA Tech)

• This Saturday January 21st  from 2:00-3:00 P.M., we will get out about 10 minutes early so that we can take a team photo.  Please wear your MHS swimming T-shirt or sweatshirt, depending on the weather!                                                                   
• County meet is Saturday, January 28th at the Clayton County pool. Warm-ups begin at noon, and the meet begins at 1:15pm.  This is a special meet as it is the final meet of the season for a majority of our swimmers, and it is also a meet where we honor our seniors.  Please let Coach Walton know ASAP if you will be unable to swim at this meet.

•  All individual swimmers who have state qualifying times, as well as those swimmers who are chosen by coaches to be on a state relay team or as an alternate, will continue to practice for the 1st two weeks of February. The state meet is Friday, February 10th and Saturday, February 11th at GA Tech and both sessions are morning sessions.  And yes, we will miss all day of school on Friday!  The state team will be announced as soon after county meet as possible.  So far, we have 1 boy and 4 girls qualified for individual events, and all 3 of both boys/girls relays have qualified.

•  If you will be trying out for a spring sport, make sure to talk to Coach Walton about scheduling.
